The Pomainos Ministries (TPM) was originally commissioned on October 6, 2000, under the name World Mission Link, focusing on missionary work, campus mobilization, and community outreach in Ekiti State, Nigeria.
The word "Pomainos" is derived from the Greek word meaning "Shepherd."
Following God's call to expand the work, Pastor Tunde Taiwo relocated to East Africa. He officially relaunched the ministry in Mbarara, Western Uganda, on December 20, 2015.
Today, TPM exists to provide hope and transformation through evangelism, discipleship, mentorship, and leadership development, heavily focusing on reaching teenagers, youths, young adults, and the unchurched.
Pastor Tunde Taiwo gave his life to Christ in 1994, two years after completing high school. Since then, he has served as a missionary across various parts of Nigeria and East Africa.
He is a mentor, author, teacher, marriage counselor, and spiritual father with a deep passion for young people and the unreached. He is the author of the daily devotional, The Shepherd's Voice, and a regular guest on various media platforms.
Combining spiritual depth with academic rigor, Pastor Taiwo holds a degree in Geological Engineering and two postgraduate diplomas—one in Missions and another in Theology. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Pastoral Ministry. Before establishing TPM in Uganda, he served extensively with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) across Nigeria and Rwanda in multiple leadership capacities.
Pastor Taiwo is married to Oyinade Peace Taiwo, an accomplished accountant, counselor, and ministry partner. They are blessed with four daughters.
